Lashkargah, historically known as Bost, is a city in the southern part of Afghanistan, serving as the capital of Helmand Province. It is within the jurisdiction of Lashkargah District and has an estimated population of 191,458 people. Hafiz Sadiq is the current mayor of the city. His predecessor was Mawlavi Abdullah Rohani.
